Faculty Doctor Runner-Up in Diversifed Medic Award

The Faculty's Dr Gary Smyth was runner-up in the ACW Awards' "Diversified Medic of the Year" award. The ACW Awards were held alongside Medic Footprints' Alternative Careers and Wellbeing for Doctors Event and are intended to reward those who have 'demonstrated achievements which are highly valuable amongst the medical profession, but rarely celebrated!'

Dr Smyth, who practices in Belfast, is a Tutor on many multidisciplinary courses and sits on the Council of the Faculty of Homeopathy as Treasurer, attributed his achievement to a wealth of experience in both NHS and private healthcare, a constant drive to diversify his practice and a keen interest in a holistic approach to treatment.

Awards were presented by Dr Rosena Allin-Khan MP.
