| Associate | None | UK Doctors with no homeopathic qualifications, but who want to use the Faculty’s appraisal and revalidation service as their designated body |
| Statutorily Regulated healthcare and veterinary practitioners studying with a Faculty of Homeopathy approved training provider and so will gain a Faculty of Homeopathy qualification in due course | ||
| Statutorily Regulated healthcare and veterinary practitioners who have studied elsewhere, but wish to take a Faculty of Homeopathy examination to gain a Faculty qualification | ||
| Medical and non-medical practitioners studying with an external training provider that is recognised by the Faculty of Homeopathy | ||
| Medical, Veterinary, and Non-medical professionals with an interest in homeopathy, but who are not currently studying for a homeopathic qualification | ||

| Affiliate | AFHom | All practitioners (i.e. already have a homeopathic qualification) whether medical or non-medical join the Faculty as an Affiliate member |
| Licentiate or Veterinary Licentiate | LFHom orVetLFHom | Statutorily regulated Associate members who pass the Faculty’s Primary Healthcare Examination (PHCE) or a similar examination automatically have their membership upgraded to Licentiate/Veterinary Licentiate. In some circumstances this membership category may be achieved through an equivalence assessment |
| Member by Examination | MFHom | All Licentiate (statutorily regulated) members are eligible to study for and take the ‘Member’ examination. Successful candidates are awarded Member by Examination membership and their membership will be upgraded automatically |
| Member by Equivalence | MFHom/ MFHom(Int) | Statutorily Regulated Affiliate members are eligible to apply for a higher level of membership through the Faculty’s equivalence process. Depending upon their qualifications they will be awarded Member by Equivalence or Diplomate of the Faculty of Homeopathy |
| Diplomate | DFHom/ DFHom(Int) | Statutorily Regulated Affiliate members may pass the Diplomate examination, or are eligible to apply for a higher level of membership through the Faculty’s equivalence process. Depending upon their qualifications they will be awarded Diplomate of the Faculty of Homeopathy or Member by Equivalence |
| Member On The Specialist Register | MFHom Spec Reg | These members have additional medical homeopathy qualifications, and are either NHS Consultants or statutorily regulated practitioners qualified to that level |
| Full Fellow | FFHom | Faculty of Homeopathy Fellowship is achieved through a nomination process, which is managed by the Faculty of Homeopathy Fellows Committee and the Faculty of Homeopathy Council. Members cannot apply for this membership category |
| Honorary Fellow | FFHom(Hon) | Faculty of Homeopathy Honorary Fellowships are offered to non-members who have made a significant and highly valued contribution to homeopathy and/or the Faculty of Homeopathy. Honorary Fellowship is managed by the Faculty of Homeopathy Fellows Committee and the Faculty of Homeopathy Council. Members cannot apply for this membership category |
