Mr Eoghan O'Brien

Eoghan O'Brien is a Community Pharmacist and took over the long-established Bannside Pharmacy from his late father Colm in the County Antrim town of Portglenone in 1993, renovating it in 1998 and adding 2 therapist treatment rooms. The pharmacy is now a wellbeing hub of the community and stocks a comprehensive range of Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs, Supplements and Classical & Complex Homeopathic medicines. 

He received a Diploma from the Faculty of Homeopathy in 2016 and was on the organising committee of the Faculty of Homeopathy Congress in Belfast the same year. 

Eoghan has been a Lecturer on the MPharm Undergraduate Pharmacy course at Ulster University on Enhanced Services and Complementary Medicine since 2005. 

He has written articles for Pharmacy magazines including Pharmacy Business, Chemist & Druggist, and P3 Pharmacy and has presented at the Pharmacy Show in 2021 & 2023 on helping to reverse Type 2 Diabetes with lifestyle changes.  

Eoghan completed a Health Coaching Diploma with the College of Naturopathic Medicine and attended a course in Biopuncture Mesotherapy in 2023.

He has also been the recipient of multiple pharmacy awards, including the Pharmacist of the Year Award.
