Ms Wendy McGrandles

BVMS VetMFHom MRCVS

I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1983 and worked in mixed practice until I set up my own practice, Glenbrae Vet Clinic, in 1990. Originally a small animal and equine clinic, it eventually became 100% small animal along with the addition of two further clinics. Instead of conventional medical care, I was treated from childhood with Homeopathy as my family attended homeopathic clinics. I have always been passionate about integrated veterinary care using the best of conventional treatments along with complementary therapies, including Homeopathy and Herbal Medicine. I obtained my VetMFHom qualification from the Faculty of Homeopathy in 2006.

I sold my first opinion practices in 2019 and set up Holistic Health, which is a referral consultancy service using a number of complementary modalities including Homeopathy at its core. Having established a pain clinic within Glenbrae with additional modalities of Acupuncture, Laser, Physiotherapy, and Stem Cell Treatment, I continue to offer these services. As more evidence is emerging for the role of the microbiome in health and behaviour, I have also focussed on species-appropriate nutrition.
