How did you start your journey in Homeopathy?
My journey started almost 30 years ago, when as a young GP , I wanted to learn of more ways to help my patients other than pharmaceutical-driven treatments. Dr Queenie Adams (deceased), inspired me greatly, when her ‘Trachoma of her eyes’ was successfully treated by Sir John Weir who was King George VI ‘s homeopathic physician. I have learnt so much about holistic care using homeopathy alongside lifestyle and dietary changes. Along the way, I have been inspired by Drs George Vithoulkas , Massimo Mangliavori, Jonathan Hardy and Peter Fisher (I worked with him at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital).
How do you integrate Homeopathy into your Practice?
I have integrated Homeopathy into my role, first as primary care doctor, and now as a private naturopathic doctor. I explore, with the patient, all the factors that might have led to their present struggle on their journey towards health. Along the way, I pay attention to any limiting factors from possible epi-genetic /childhood issues, making sure that all nutritional/lifestyle factors are optimized and there are no possible toxicological issues ‘at play’. I pay close attention to ‘gut microbiome and brain health’ which are closely related to anxiety and mood states. I have found that homeopathic approaches can make amazing differences to a patient as they wish to enhance their immunity and body/mind strengths. Fortunately, homeopathic remedies can be used safely alongside any conventional treatments. Many patients seek me out as I have wide and broad experience in helping them.
