How did you start your journey in Homeopathy?
My first contact with Homeopathic Medicine was when I was a student at the Medical School of the University of Athens, through some seminars. From a young age, however, I strongly believed in the power of natural self-healing. Thus, the strengthening of the organism towards the "similar" direction in which it is fighting was completely normal according to my perception. Considering Medicine to be unified and oriented only to the benefit of the patient, I chose Homeopathy as a basic therapeutic tool in my daily clinical practice. My contact with Prof.G.Vιthoulkas's theory of levels of health was decisive in upgrading clinical homeopathic practice in difficult medical cases.
How do you integrate Homeopathy into your Practice?
After 25 years of practicing Homeopathy, within the framework of Medicine at a private level, and 12 consecutive years of introducing Homeopathy in the Greek National Health System to the Headache Clinic of a Public Hospital, I cannot remember a single day when I finished my duties without being happy, even on days with difficult cases. Each patient, a new journey of exploration of the psychoneuroimmune profile and deviation from homeostasis, leading to similarity with a unique homeopathic medicine. Life relationships with patients who had been considered incurable cases. Countless lectures, scientific conferences, research, and a Master of Science in Genomics at the age of 50, to research the epigenetic effects of Homeopathy. In the Hellenic Homeopathic Medical Society, we experience a large friendly group of doctors who are trying in Greece to properly promote Classical Homeopathy. And recently the honorary equivalence MFhom, of the historical Faculty of Homeopathy and the communication with wonderful people with common goals. A life journey with Homeopathy that continues..!
